First: save the forests

Now I help an association here in Switzerland that wants to prevent destroying a forest to install wind turbines

the forests of the Mount Gibloux, Switzerland

Association Sauvez les Forêts du Gibloux

The goal of the association is -among other things- to prevent the construction and the exploitation of wind turbines by destroying forest areas. If this occurs, it would have devasteting consequences for this geographical region, in terms of its landscape, the health of its inhabitants and its fauna. It should be noted that :

1) wind turbines would be 200 meters high

2) large roads have to be build and will remain on a permanent basis

3) thousands of tons of concrete are required for the construction of a wind turbine
